About your Instructor:
Phaedra Darwish was drawn to ethnic dance after being influenced by Chicago's culturally diverse neighborhoods. She has studied various forms including hip hop, salsa, merengue, rhumba, bachata, bhangra, and Bollywood. She also brings knowledge of Western dance varieties that include tap, jazz, and ballet. She's bringing her varied knowledge, good energy, fine ability to teach all levels and her sparkle to Cheetah Gym Andersonville for everyone to enjoy!

Welcome to "Bollywood Aerobics" with Phaedra! Bollywood, the hugely popular musical movie genre from India, with its infectious music and expressive movements is hitting America with a "bang." The movements in Bollywood style are fun, athletic and a fusion of styles from classical Indian dance to modern jazz and hip-hop.
Come join the fun as we groove to popular Bollywood and bhangra hits while engaging in a medium impact aerobic workout utilizing easy choreography. It's guaranteed to leave you feeling invigorated with a smile on your face!
AS ALWAYS, THERE IS NO DANCE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS UNINTIMIDATING ENVIRONMENT - LET'S SWEAT IT OUT TOGETHER! COIN SKIRTS ARE PROVIDED FOR USE DURING THE CLASS AS AN ADDED ELEMENT OF FUN. NO SPECIAL WORKOUT CLOTHING IS NECESSARY. CLEAN GYM SNEAKERS (NO STREET SHOES) ARE ALLOWED IN THIS DANCE CLASS AS THE CLASS INCORPORATES JUMPING IN THE MOVEMENTS. COME IN AND CHALLENGE YOUR MIND WHILE
